Early Childhood
Preschool - Kindergarten
At Our Lady of Grace, our preschool program provides 3-5 year olds with a nurturing environment. We focus on social, emotional, physical, cognitive development and spiritual growth. We provide learning opportunities for the students to grow through play based and exploratory instruction.
Elementary
First Grade - Fifth Grade
1st to 5th grade students participate in curriculum benchmarks for English, Reading, Math, and Science aligned with the Illinois Learning Standards, Common Core State Standards, ACT's College Readiness Standards, and the Next Generation Science Standards.
Our focus is on cooperative learning, encouraging students to leverage their unique strengths to collaborate effectively, think critically, and tackle challenges together.
Middle School
Sixth Grade - Eighth Grade
Our middle school curriculum aims to offer a well-rounded education for students in grades 6th through 8th. Our program covers subjects like religion, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, and physical education.
It is closely aligned with various educational standards such as the Illinois Learning Standards, Common Core State Standards, ACT's College Readiness Standards, and the Next Generation Science Standards. Teachers utilize innovative and interdisciplinary methods to deliver valuable and authentic educational experiences to students.
Connected Mathematics Project
Middle School
OLG's Middle School students use the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) curriculum out of Michigan State University. The goal of CMP is to help students and teachers develop mathematical knowledge, understanding, and skill along with an awareness of and appreciation for the connections among mathematical principles, and between mathematics and other disciplines. Stock Market Program
Middle School
Big Shoulders Fund developed the Stock Market Program to bring business professionals into eighth grade classrooms to teach basic concepts related to the stock market, investing, and careers in business. The Stock Market Program provides the opportunity for eighth grade students to learn about the financial markets, personal savings and investing concepts, and careers within the financial industry.
